Using supersonic wave technology (com- bined with neural network) the product can detect the shell thickness online con- tinuously, and can supply the parameter regulation basis for dynamic soft reduc- tion, EMS, secondary cooling water and so on. This is good to improve casting blank quality.

Function Characteristic

• Continuously detect the thickness of cast- ing blank (compared with nail-shooting test) the error is less than 3mm;
• Supply the parameter regulation basis for dynamic soft reduction, EMS, secondary cooling water and so on;
• Compared with nail-shooting test, the casting blank thickness is obtained without destructive test;
• Adopt the sealed water-cooled technol- ogy ; detecting element can resist the high temperature of 1000 ℃, meet the operat- ing requirement in site.
